Have been having so much fun with the multiplayer demo they released for this game. I recorded some footage today on my computer (a hell of a job, considering how much lag starts to afflict my pc when I'm recording directly off the screen T_T), just trying to get the sound to work in the video, then I'll upload it.

I liked your game video, thanks for sharing.  The game looks really cool, I could never play these kinds of games because the first person perspective almost always gives my a migraine. I can watch them, but not play them, not sure why. Anyway, hope the game is everything you expect it to be |

Hehe thanks. It absolutely is everything I expected it would be and then some. Definitely getting the full game when I can (the demo servers have gone offline since the full game comes out in like a week :S)
I would like to make more random gameplay videos but my computer always has some annoying lag spikes when I try to use the recording software on a video game. If I get a more powerful pc with more RAM/CPU I could probably do video game recording flawlessly.

Changed the name of this thread so I can make it more general.
Just found a new mech combat game by accident, holy crap it looks and sounds amazing:
Last good mech game I played was Phantom Crash on Original Xbox and Armored Core 4 on PS2. Also I do not care for the whole "Mechwarrior" series as it was too much like hardwork instead of just mad chaotic fun like this looks to be.

Sorry to hijack your thread once again geekguy but I just wanted to say Portal 2 is out and I have to admit that I can't wait to buy it ( but I have to wait for the end of this month... ). I've heard it's even more awesome than the first . |

lol I know you posted about Portal 2 ages ago now, but I've passed it 3 times, it's completely awesome I most certainly agree with you geekguy, once again Valve delivered a very good game and I'm looking forward to their next project ( though I wonder if it will be Half-Life 2 : Episode 3 or something else ). |

So, Dead Island ended up being a fairly sub-par game. Still fun with friends though. It's basically Borderlands but with a whole lot more melee-ing involved. Dark Souls the spiritual successor to Demons Souls will be out soon. Demons Souls was one of the hardest games ever (but not unfair, always fair, just brutally punishing if you messed up), so I am thoroughly looking forward to Dark Souls which will be on xbox 360 this time so I can actually give it a solid play. Too lazy to link videos today  |

New Devil May Cry footage:
It looks so amazingly sexy, from the animations to the art design to the COLOURS. Games all seem to be afraid to use COLOUR these days but this game does it really well.
Also for anyone who has played the previous Devil May Cry games, its quite apparent how different he looks and it's amazing how much of a backlash the fans are giving it. They don't seem to have any rational thought of the logic that he's younger, so obviously he's not going to look the same as when he's older in the other games. Crazy bloody fans and their resistance to change...
Can't wait!
