Well I actually made it to the public library today - first more enjoyable time there in many months. I sat down to read for a bit. Marle will be happy to know I finally found the Michael Pollan book "In Defense of Food" and have borrowed it for home reading. I read this for quite awhile today at the library, really digging into it. It's certainly a must read for anyone researching food or nutritional history I'm glad you're into it. I found the book to be a very articulate, readable argument for the Whole Foods movement. I was kind of obsessed with the topic at the time. Although I've somewhat "fallen off the wagon" when it comes to eating that way, I still believe in the concepts.

Ever since watching The Witcher netflix show (which is so good, watch it!), I've made it my mission to read the books. I bought them all before I lost my bookstore employee discount. I got through "The Last Wish" and am now working my way through "The Sword of Destiny". Both are short story collections, some of which were featured in the first season.

The Witcher series for me too. Just finished 'Baptism of Fire'. Now on to 'The Tower of the Swallow'. Loved the last one.

I am currently (and concurrently) reading "Making it So" by Patrick Stewart of Star Trek Generation's Captain Picard and of course the X-men movies.
I am going through major depression atm so I am not very lucid in my writings (maybe I never was?) so I will just put a few things here hoping to come back to it at another time. It is basically autobiographical. He was born in 1940. I am trying to put more, but with my not being very good with words (I guess) and that is exacerbated by this debilitating depression.
It is a very interesting read. He seems very down to earth in this book. He talks about his love for acting which is no surprise at all and I expect no surprise to those who have followed his career.
