I'm not really sure if you're supposed to make your own thread to introduce yourself, so sorry if I did this wrong! 
I'm Claire from Kentucky. I'm a high school junior, and I am pretty shy. I don't remember being very shy in grade school, but as soon as high school rolled around, I became really shy. I am also really awkward, as some shy people tend to be. I lack self confidence, too.
Anyway. I just joined this site to ask for advice and maybe even give advice if I'm feeling brave.
