The Walking Dead is a zombie drama that began as a comic and aired as as TV show in 2010. Season 3 began last October, and it's made Sundays a lot less dull for me.
Who are your favorite characters? What do you want to see on the show? Did you read any of the comics?
I've found season 3 to be a lot more exciting than season 2, but I'm getting tired of Woodbury. I kind of miss being out on the road and seeing what the world has become and how the characters survive day-to-day, which seems a lot more relevant to a horror-drama than politics and posturing.

I unfortunately wasn't able to follow along with season 3 apart from the first couple of episodes, so i'm going to have to catch up at some point. I loved all the previous episodes though, and I have read up to volume 16 of the graphic novels, though I was starting to find those a bit boring towards the end.
As for fave characters, it's probably between Rick, Daryl and Michonne.

Maggie and Michonne are my two favorites. I haven't read the comic, but I hope they don't die. (don't tell me =.=)

Daryl and Michonne are my two faves. Though if Rick died I would be very upset. As for season 3, it did get kind of boring with the war between Rick's group and the Governor's, there just weren't enough zombies for me. Should be interesting to see where season 4 goes. Oh, and I haven't read the comics but I've heard what goes on in them and I'm kinda glad the tv show isn't following them exactly.

Yep, I didn't like season 3 either. It was overly dramatic, I think, or maybe just because there were less zombies. They should keep the suspense high and less melodramatic stuff. Rick was one of my favorites until he went crazy and wasted so many episodes spacing out. Also there were some scenes that I hated, like the part with Maggie and that creepy governor. That almost ruined her image. There are only few female characters that are tough and they made one of their best female characters look weak this season. -_-''

Definitely Michonne, doesn't talk much but gets shit done, she's also very proficient in killing zombies with her katana . No, I haven't read the comics though I don't really feel the need to do so.

I managed to catch up with season 3 which was pretty cool. I found it much more enjoyable than season 2, which had way too much dumb drama between characters. I'm curious to see how season 4 goes.

Well, here's the thing. FX airs new episodes in the UK one day after it airs in America, but FX is a satellite channel, and nobody wants to give Murdoch any more cash. Channel 5 is a free channel and airs the show one year after America. But Channel 5 are bad, bad people. They've decided not to pick up the show's fourth season. Which I found out last week. Hence why I've been frantically trying to catch up, online, with the goings on of the fourth season before it returned on Sunday gone, Monday in the UK. Which I managed. I'm all up to date.
And horribly mortified. Seriously, nine episodes in five days is enough to give you nightmares.
The eighth episode will haunt me for a very long time. I was genuinely shaken. It was really heartbreaking and just so brutal. What I love about the show is that there's no hope. No matter what happens, nobody will survive longer than 10 years. Supplies will run out. It's the bleakest and darkest show ever to grace our television screens. We're watching and investing in characters who we know will not make it, whose fate we know.
I'm really enjoying the fourth season, although I'm pissed at Channel 5 (low ratings my arse). There will be a fifth and there will be a spin-off (officially, 'companion show'). The fourth I think is its best yet. The battle in episode eight is so unbelievably brilliant, including the tank, and just so, so tragic. I lost my favourite character. We really didn't have to see what happened to him. Up close. Graphically. Repeatedly. And then piled on even more in episode nine.
Really brutal but really brave television.
There's never been anything like it. There really hasn't.
Oh, and Carl is really starting to look like Daryl.
