I'm glad you weren't angry, Skyhint. I was downright PO'd I realized afterwards that it was foolish to get worked up over something that doesn't have any real impact on me. I guess we'll just have agree to disagree.

I think it should be. If it was legalized long ago you wouldn't have stuff with the potency it has now. Since it has become illegal it has become worthwhile to grow hydroponically in perfect conditions. If I remember right they breed them until they get a perfect plant with high thc and then use cuttings off it to grow whole batches. They also spray it with chemicals that kill braincells and increase the "high". I wouldn't be abit suprised if they sprayed crystal meth and crack crystals on alot of the street stuff today.
The normal marijuana if it was legalized would be grown in fields to keep the cost of producing down making it less potent. Harmful chemicals wouldn't be added to increase the high or get you addicted to hard drugs that can really ruin your life. Considering that alchohol is legal now why shouldn't marijuana because its less harmful and doesn't cause the violent out bursts that alchohol does. People that are high on marijuana don't go home and beat their kids and wives like some drunks. They go home and look in the fridge for munchies.

Personally I just can't see any arguments that are strong enough for actually criminalising it. I find the concept that if you smoke a bit of weed then you are a bad person deserving punishment completely and utterly absurd. People that are high on marijuana don't go home and beat their kids and wives like some drunks. They go home and look in the fridge for munchies. I'll never forget my Gran's cake she used to make. It was amazing dipped in coffee. Best. Thing. Evah.

Doesn't really matter whether it is or isn't, if people want marijuana, then they will find a way to get it, whether it's legal or not

Not sure. Like the last poster said people are gonna do it no matter what. I'm not totally clear on the potency aspect since I don't do pot. If it's a big problem then legalizing pot might curtail it.

Where I live officially it is illegal, but you can pick up a bong at the corner store, strangers (very strange people) ask you if you can spare some (they also often ask about other drugs too) and nobody seems to care. You oft hear people talking about getting stoned in public and the police couldn't care less (half of them probably do it too). My sister does it, as does her boyfriend and everyone they know (except me). I'm the freak eveyone talks down to because I dont do drugs. They all talk to me like I'm 2 years old. They're the one's who have rotted their brains!

If I was a crackhead with herpes, everyone would love me, like this guy: Loving crackhead with his daughter.

You make a good point and I agree that alcohol should be made illegal. Problem is that the majority of people are drunks now, so if you leave it up to them, they're gonna vote to keep it legal. They are addicted. It would be heaven if one day I could walk down the street or take public transport and not be hassled by filthy drunks. It makes me afraid to leave the house knowing I have to deal with that crap.

Same place you find filthy potheads/crackheads and corner stores that sell bongs despite the fact that pot is illegal. Yes, I live in a shithole.
