Not sure why this thread was started. Everyone who has had any experience with women knows that Nice Guys Finish Last; that women go for the bad boys.. Not the ugly women. We genuinely want a nice guy. But sadly, nice guys aren't interested in fatties/uglies. They're as shallow as the bad boys, and why shouldn't they be? Why should they "settle for less" just because they're nice?  Let's just fight fire with fire, when it comes to this old chestnut. |

At certain times, a women would be pleased with a guy finishing last. ;D (Sorry, couldn't help myself.) And there's a nice guy in Tallahassee, occasionly to be found in a bookstore....in case anyone is interested.  |

Where to meet nice guys? ---I think they must be hiding in the pot of gold found at the end of the rainbow... Of course, they could also be sitting right behind me in my classes and I wouldn't know the difference.  I'm definitely not going to obtain an MRS degree. not that I've been trying or anything... |

So asking the question of where women should go to meet nice guys is rather pointless. Unless the guys want to go shoe shopping or something. I think most guys who think this way (not saying you are, but in general) are guys who aren't that attractive. They may be nice but they are not that good looking and so instead of putting it down to the fact that they just aren't attracting girls with their looks they choose to say 'nice guys finish last'. I don't think they do. I would love a nice guy to be my boyfriend - but he HAS to be good looking too. I don't want a nice guy if he is not my type to look at - the same as I don't want a hot guy if he is a complete ass. Where are the single guys that are BOTH? |

As a shy person I could never walk up to someone who is sat alone in a coffee shop, or start talking to someone who's on his own in a park or bookstore. Aside from the fact that I'm just too shy to do it and would feel a complete plank with no life, how do you even know that they are single? It might be a guy in a relationship just out having a drink or rest while his girlfriend is elsewhere. |

That's also very unlikely. Guy's don't go to coffee shows to be away from their girlfriends. I used to sit alone at the snack/coffee shop on campus and eat lunch before my schedule changed and there was a new flood of students so I just walk home right after class now.
