like when he invited you out on a date? no, i know this guy irl. in this case though, bodhi met her online and hasn't known her very long at all. so if she's seriously shy that was the first opportunity for avoidance to interfere significantly really.

Yes, come back Pansy, we miss you. Anyway, I had another update on this NYC girl. We agreed to meet again and both felt bad about how we missed each other the first time. I feel pretty confident she did want to meet and just acted nervous and shy and illogically. She is really shy too I'm certain, not just flaky. She showed me this poem she wrote about shyness and how fear crushes her throat and how she must hide sometimes from the world. This time we've exchanged cell phone numbers and I'm going to make very specific plans. I think that will eliminate anything like the first time happening again. I think I'm going to try and go this week, or next week at the latest. I hope things go better this time. *crosses fingers*

This is going to be short, and looks like you got lots of help so that's good.
I can relate re: phones. Usually females like myself LIKE phones, but not me. I hate the phone. Haven't had 1 in since 2004.
