I want to be cremated. But I don't want my ashes scattered, I want them to be buried in one place. And I want a gravestone. I decided all that when I was pretty young (I don't know why!)

I'd probably say cremation but i don't really care that much, it wont matter much to me when i'm dead.

I want to be buried. It just seems like the most natural way to me.

Oooh, then you could be like a shooting star whizzing back down to earth

Blast me into space and send me into the Sun. Not only would that be an uber-cremation but I'd also be spread across the solar system by the solar winds.

Burial would probably be my first choice, so I could be burried in the cemetary on my land. My ancestors that came over from Germany are burried in it, old German text on the tombstones even. Though there are legal issues which would most likely prevent a person being burried on their own property nowdays. That would probably happen if I were to die while my parents are still alive, in an auto accident or something. If I die after they are dead too I won't have anyone to carry out a funeral for me so I guess I'll just rot in my house until someone smells the decay. That's so morbid, but that's pretty much what ends up happening to old people who don't have children to check up on them. It even happened to someone I knew who was seperated from his wife at the time when he died.

Hey you forgot Cryogenic Storage, so that many years down the road you could be brought back to life.
Anyhow I wouldn't like to be buried,,, cremate me,, and throw ashes somewhere. I believe when I am dead my body is just a rotting carcass and to put it in a coffin that costs thousands of $$$ is just plain stupid. If I did wanna be buried just use a pine box or a cardboard box from a refrigerator thats out at the curb for recycling.
,, To me The spirit is gone but lives on in memories of loved ones, and most people stop going to cemetary to visit graves after a few years anyhow. I'd rather have my friends and family get together somewhere like a bar and have a goodtime. Celebrate the life ,Don't mourn the death. In fact i want my funeral to be a big party,
