Feeling a bit odd still as I was sedated for some dental work earlier today, trying to get the energy to get back into bed again after a 6 hour nap and it's now the early hours of the morning.

Eating a slice of pizza, having a drink of coffee liquor with milk and ice; and watching a Puppet Master movie - the really gory one lol Puppet Master 2 lol. Plus the digital cable tv's on with a movie also - Binge Watcher LOL. Got the Puppet Master movie as a DVD set of 10 PM movies in 2 discs by snail mail. Ordered them on the 24th January and they arrived February 3rd - pretty good service there. (Site called "Second Spin" just in case anyone might be interested)

Recovering. Just had laser eye surgery. Don't tell me it doesn't hurt... My favourite part was all the clicking sounds. Apparently, that's the blood vessels popping in the eyeballs.

I'm alright, I s'pose.
In a strange sorta way, it was a lot like being abducted by aliens. And I don't know about you, but that's always been on my bucket list...
I had a couple days off work but I'm back now. Nowhere near 100%, but getting there, very slowly. Can't rush these things, really.
Also, 999 posts!
More important than 1,000...

Been volunteering at a design and print company for the last eight or nine months. So graphic designer is my job, which is remarkable considering I never even went to uni... I design things like menus, logos, flyers, leaflets, business cards - anything and everything basically, all over the world. I also chip in with admin and dealing with customers, and helping make the signs and posters we make and print, so there's that, too. It's a small company, only four of us including me, so they can't afford to take me on, but I'm enjoying it. There's something lovely travelling down a main road in my hometown and pointing to various businesses. "Oh, I did their shop sign. And their window posters. Oh, and their business cards..." I mean, I'm crap at it but they keep asking me to stay on, so, I don't know, someone's watching down on me...

Sitting. Thinking. Wondering... how all the ghostly peeps that used to bustle about this board are doing these days. Some of you I knew over 10 years ago. TEN! How are you going? How have you changed? Did you... make it? I'll figure out what to say about myself soon. In the meantime: hi again.

Creating stuff that people can see is pretty awesome. And maybe even conversation-starting if you play your cards (badum-tish) right.

What am I doing? Oh, you know, the usual. Just popping off to an Iron Maiden concert, as you do... I could only get tickets right near the stage, so if you never hear from me again, it was lovely knowing you...

I think " so if i never hear again, it was lovely knowing you..." would be more appropriate. Being so near the stage and all, i'd imagine the music would be quite loud or deafening.

I still can't hear a bloody tihng. My ears are ringing like 'ell... Best night of my life. Absolutely brilliant. There were flames everywhere, an Aztec set, 10 story giant heads, a puppet walking around on stage doing battle with the band - having his heart ripped out and burst over the audience - oh, boy, they know how to put on a show... Burnt and deaf. Great night.
