I don't understand what the fuss is about SP. You know very well what to do. Flirt. As I see it the only obstacle in this case is that you are uncomfortable doing this with your kid around.

As I see it the only obstacle in this case is that you are uncomfortable doing this with your kid around. yes, they do yes, they most certainly do. if you're not the one they want, or they don't like your approach, or they're in a relationship they don't want to mess up, they say no...just like women do. as far as flirting goes, my weakness is that i can get nervous and my flirting mechanism doesn't work right, lol. but i can ask a guy out, so if he wants to go out with me it should be okay. i was just looking for ideas on what guys like to hear from a woman they don't know very well who is asking them out. |

Be yourself. You don't need to flirt once you ask him out, flirting comes after a while of dating and the need for more intimacy {though many probably flirt once they get the chance}. that's how interest is established
once interest is established, one person ask the other one out(usually guy asks girl)
just asking someone out, out of the blue is a bit weird

I was just trying to say that one does not have to make a big deal out of asking someone out, and that flirting isn't required, though probably desired^^. It's weird to ask someone out if one doesn't know them, but there's the smalltalk and such things. But, flirting is a very normal way to show interest at someone. |
