Exactly, SP. There's obviously something "wrong" with this kind of view, nevertheless is this how I perceive the world. That's why I believe I might suffer from APD or another personality disorder^^. so what's the first step towards correcting that gonna be? A diagnosis from a psychologist, I guess. When and where is yet to be determined.

But, for an actual relationship her personality can't be completely bimbodic. And as for the "bigger better deal" women do that just as much. I suppose it's evolution at work. I think there are shallow guys and girls out there who constantly seek the best and care less on what's inside of a person. Similarly, there are individuals of both genders who are on the look for something more profound and serious. It actually looks like girls are MORE superficial than guys in my surroundings. Don't how it is worldwide, though.

Girls aren't more superificial, but they certainly aren't any less. At least, not from the studies I've read.

i think girls can be more superficial about things like earning money, interests etc not necessarily visual qualities but superficial qualities none the less .That off course is a sweeping statement and it is something that varies from person to person and we all are superficial in one way or another .

I haven't seen or heard of any of those guys around here, mostly because I get the feeling we still live in an old-fashioned society where it is still the man who has to have the highest paid job, and provide financial and practical safety to his family. I think I'm looking forward to a good laugh when I see those "girl-guys" make their demands, though . Girls {and women} around here do nothing but prey for men who have money and a safe place to stay. Once having established a relationship to him ,they start making more and more demands, start controlling his life and in the end makes life unbearable for him. If they have been conceived, they also make sure they remain with the right to keep the child{ren}. And then they jump on the next bloke who shows up, hence the escalation into a vicious circle. And of course my gender is the one who everyone blames^^.

okay, here's some of the buzz words i've lifted from personal ads posted by men for my local area. "I am looking for an attractive and intelligent professional woamn with a good career plus..." "....educated, $ecure, professional lady..." i'd post more, but as i'm reading through these lists of...um...requirements, i'm feeling kind of ill...so i'm gonna stop now, lol.

Oh yeah, isn't that every girl/woman's Mr. Right ? It made me laugh and believe that at least I'm not the biggest loser on the planet. I actually have to say I agree with what he said about "like" and the use of it, minus all his profanity and coarse language ^^.

At times he kinda reminds me of Robert Downey Jr as far as his mannerisms, minus the awesomeness.
