Agree that as a shy girl you tend to feel more comfortable around shy guys,because you understand a bit how the other one ticks. Doesn't necessarily mean you'll hit it off, but it always feels like a start. The only trouble is it takes *so long* for anything to happen! I only asked out my ex after our sick and tired housemates practically locked us in a room together. Also if you're both insecure there can be a lot of mutual "you do like me don't u? Don't you?! You DON'T do you?!" Three years of that can be a hard on a relationship  But hopefully i'd deal with it better now. Yeah, lay off the girls, we're not all bad! |

I like shy guys because I'm a shy female. I'm quite old although don't think it's anything to do with a 'motherly instinct' as I hate kids! I just like shy guys because I know what it's like to be shy, and it's nice to meet someone who shares the same qualities. I only like cute shy guys though, not just any shy guy! LOL. And I think it's quite hard to tell who is shy and who isn't. Sometimes if a guy doesn't speak to me I might think it's because he doesn't like me or not interested in making conversation. I won't think he's shy unless I specifically find out that he is. wel if 108 is wht u cal 'quite owld' ( ;)jk red yr prowfil, lol) for me it deppends on the guy. i datd a shy guy but he wuz so shy tht whn he saw me cummin hed look th othr way - i didnt lik tht at oll it mad me thnk he reelie didnt car 4 me and sumtims i felt lik gust terning arownd ande goeing bak in the howse  ! |

i dated a shy guy...he USED me . he put up a lot of barriers and was quite closed. he definately isn't the commiting kind and sees being with a girl as a status/fun thing.
my current bf is quite outgoing he purposely will hold back when he meets people just simply because he tends to say exactly what he thinks (lol people have commented that he lacks an inner monologue) he however is more the commiting loving long lasting type.
shyness is a quality that stands alone you can't say that because someone os shy they are this or that its not at all fair people are more complex then that.
