Plus I enjoy watching other people play those sorts of games, my brother and I used to always chill and play video games together, he would play and I would be entertained .... and usually talk to much "whats over there!?" "Whats that shiny thing?" etc etc He was always very sweet about it, he never minded my ...umm... involvement. That's great, I wish I had someone in my family with which I could share my passion for video games but alas this is not the case. I recently played the hidden object game: "Haunted Halls: Green Hills Sanitarium" It was good, a little creepy and enjoyable. Any suggestions for ones I should check out? Well, the Mystery Case Files are great games if you haven't tried them already and other than that my suggestions would be Drawn 1&2 ( both are very beautiful and atmospheric ) and perhaps Maestro : Music of Death which I enjoyed as well.

I attempted Final Fantasy Xiii yesterday, but I suck at it so I gave up and went to Final Fantasy X instead. Got a little bit further, but now I'm going to have to do loads of leveling up for the next boss.

Thats one thing I miss about my brother, (we live too far apart to just hang out anymore) I particularly loved it when we would go through scary games like Silent Hill or Resident Evil. Well, the Mystery Case Files are great games if you haven't tried them already and other than that my suggestions would be Drawn 1&2 ( both are very beautiful and atmospheric ) and perhaps Maestro : Music of Death which I enjoyed as well. I've played a lot of the Mystery Case File games and really enjoyed them, I liked Madame Fate more for its end of level puzzles then the story, but even that one was good. I'm going to check out Drawn 1 tonight when I get home from work

Starcraft II, I'm about halfway through the campaign and have played a few custom multiplayer maps with my friends.
Also is WoW really as addictive as people say it is? I heard it's like the crack of games.

Pretty much, though it's not as hard to leave/stay away from it if you don't have friends/social links with other people playing the game. The social aspect is most of what makes it so addictive. It definitely is heroin for nerds, I've tried to quit 4-5 times over the years, and while I do go months without any thought of playing again, stuff like new expansions and friends returning to the game draw me back in.
Doesn't help that when I play I get really into it and do all the hardcore stuff, topping damage done out of our raid groups and smashing through the PvP, usually with a group of friends, so it is that much more fun.

I've finished Portal 2 single player, it was an amazing experience, but once again too quickly over though thankfully it was longer than the first ( about twice as long if I'm not mistaken ).

I heard that it's the good community which draws people into WoW and keeps people hooked, it's good to hear it from someone who played the game. Also for a shy person a good online community can very addictive.

I'm playing Amnesia : The Dark Descent. If you like scary games, this one certainly delivers. I was already quite impressed by this company ( Frictional Games ) previous game, Penumbra. I played the two episodes ( Penumbra : Overture and Penumbra : Black Plague ) and I remember very well how some moments were really scary and even disturbing. It was not perfect ( especially when it came to combat ) but it was a very promising debut. Well, with Amnesia, they have confirmed to me their potential in making scary and atmospheric games. They've understood that to scare the player, placing monsters behind every door will only work for so long before the player knows what to expect ( I'm thinking Doom 3 as I write this ). No, the best way to scare someone is to put his imagination to work against himself ( because imagination is a very powerful thing ) and Frictional Games has certainly made that work extremely well. Add to this a defenseless character ( No more awkward combat like in the first episode of Penumbra ) who's a bit afraid of staying in the dark for too long ( and I certainly understand him on that ), a sanity level which if too high can make you see things which aren't there and of course exceptional audio to immerse yourself even more in the world of Amnesia which also has an interesting story. Well, with all that you can easily see that I'm certainly enjoying ( although I'm not sure if the word enjoying is the right one in this case ;D ) this game and I would recommend it to anyone who likes scary/horror games, even more so because of the small price tag : 20 dollars. There's also a Demo if you want to try before buying.

Because of Playstations Network being down, as compensation they are giving away free games. I got Little Big Planet and Infamous. Both of them are pretty fun.

Currently playing League of Legends and Team Fortress 2. Once my first paycheck comes through I think I'll buy a couple of new games such as Brink and something else.
Playing League of legends is so good if you have some other friends to play online with who understand the game as well. Been playing with a friend in 3v3 games and we've had some epic moments.

League of legends does have its bad eggs, but I've yet to encounter anyone that made me want to stop playing altogether, and I'm quite competitive :3
Also, What game am I NOT playing right now? lol. I purchased DJ hero 2 and Final Fantasy 13 today for really cheap, picked up Mirror's Edge, Bioshock, and The Witcher 2 on PC the other day using Steam, and I have borrowed Dragon Age 2 off a friend on the xbox so I have TONS to play at the moment (still need to pass Mass Effect as well, I can just never be bothered...)
