This thread should be a bit of fun. I'll start the ball rolling. I'm a member of the Desperate Dan Pie Eater's Club (as my brother constantly reminds me), I love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film and, although it pains me to say it, I have a copy of Meatloaf's 'Bat Out Of Hell CD. Oh yes, and I once one a Primary School art contest although I got my brother to draw my entry for me. There! That was painful. Anything you all woul dlike to get off your chests?

I also like some songs by Meat Loaf and Simon and Garfunkel. When I was about six years old, I use to say "pleased to meet you" instead of "peace be with you" in church when you shake peoples hands because I thought it was "pleased to meet you." Also, around that age, I recieved a kite as a present and one of my brothers told me if I attached it to my back, I could fly and I believed him. So I put my bike helmet on and swimming goggles because I had seen pilots in movies with hats and goggles on and I attached the kite to my back and started running up and down on my local field trying to take off. I got some funny looks.

I go to the MTV message boards and hassle the other posters as well as the MTV personalities, just for fun. I love Simon and Garfunkel also but, I am a fanatic about Billy Joel (which I don't really consider a dark secret). I saw him twice in concert. The MTV thing is my darkest secret right now, I would hate for people I know to find out that I go there just to make fun of people. I won't even tell you all my screename.

I asked about dark secrets. Anybody who like Simon and Garfunkle is going below the belt!

LOL, I don't know about you NewOrleanslady but I think the lyrics to "I am a rock" describe a shy person really well. Refferring to your other post, I don't think you need to tell us your screename, we just have to look out for the person harassing the other users! ;D your safe though because I don't go on the mtv website.

To stop a massive mutiny, I will say that Meatloaf is a cracking performer and Simon and Uncle Garfunle...well ...I'm away to the shops now to buy there greatest hits cd. Or should that be greatest hit.
I love The Cranberries. At one stage I thought me and Deloris would marry but it never happened.
Any more peculiar taste in music out there?

I like two songs by Leonard Cohen, don't ask me who he is because I don't know myself, just some really old singer I guess. Now i'm moving house and changing identitys before the lynch mob arrives at my house. ;D

I actually like a bit of pop as well. Britney, Christina, Pink and the rest. There's more depth to a Pink song than a Leonard Cohen song and day!

I like some pop music. Britney is just a fun person to watch. Her music has to grow on me sometimes but, I do have one of her CD's. I buy a lot of greatest hits CD's as well as soundtracks. Most new bands these days all sound the same to me so I don't know if I can even name a song title muchless a band. Oh... Good Charlote is one that I like a lot. I can't deal with rap/hip hop (although, Eminem has a lot of talent), other than that I'll listen to most anything.

What Japenese bands do you like Moogle?
I also am a big fan of Radiohead. I saw them live twice. I've seen Suede, Oasis, the Prodigy and a few others I wwon't admit to going and seeing in public. Oh, I've have had a bit of 'crack with Barnbracck.' Barnbrack are a legendery Belfast folk group who sung classic like 'Mickey Marley's Rounabout' and 'Belfast.'
Has anybody seen any good bands live?

I've seen Oasis as well Shane, I went to see them last year at the Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester. The soundtrack of our lives, the electric soft parade and Richard Ashcroft were the supports. The first two bands were okay and Richard Ashcroft was great! He played some of the Verve's songs and a few of his solo ones.
