I think it's best if we just let this thread fade into obscurity.
Perhaps we could do a pinned one (like the where to find nice guys/nice girls threads) and call it "General advice for shy bees".

All right, i'll steer this thread back to the original topic. For first or second dates, when the feelings are warming up . . . Men: Bring a flower. Just one, it means more. Women: Wear something low cut, or show a bit of leg. Simple tricks, but they work. Russ, can't say I agree with either one of those. Bringing a flower comes across as trying too hard. Wearing revealing clothes sends a signal; jump my bones. Not good for initial dates. Better saved for relationships. ;D

i've gotta agree that showing skin to strangers is a great way to attract jerks. dressing sexy is something i do for a bf, but not for random strangers. unfortunately, in this culture any bare skin indicates to a lot of guys that you're 'easy' - ready to be used and discarded by all comers. so if that's what you want....

But it seems 'jump my bones' is what people want nowadays.

any opportunity to take a shot at someone, right? No, not any... just the ones that beg for it. Hush little baby, don't say a word...

Ok, no problem. I'm just throwing out ideas here. Yeah, god forbid you defend your opinion. Go to hell already. I don't mind you taking potshots at me, but i'm sick and tired of your attitude. And i'm tired of trying to be civil with you. Time for you to be banned. Go suck it up and try your shit elsewhere. Be a real man, for once, and walk away. And God have mercy on you if you and i ever meet in real life, cause little twits like you get an ass pounding in my part of the world.

A couple of people here should have watched Dr. Phil yesterday. Though, somehow, that probably would have backfired anyway. Hmm...I guess this thread is too far gone to go back to its original purpose. Is there any way to take care of that?

I saw the episode where that dude was obsessed with Star Wars. What exactly was going on in yesterday's episode?

Phone calls chatting a little bit are okay too. Though i detest telephones, getting a call from a nice, sweet girl makes me feel on cloud seven, maybe even close to cloud eight. Oh, and i think calling the next day after the date is perfectly fine. It shows you care and appreciate the other.
