Well, too bad, because I did, and it's not the Bible, but another piece of scripture by Archbishop James Ussher, which claims the Earth was created around 4,000BC. Had he been playing too much Civilization ? "The game begins in 4000 BC, and the players attempt to expand and develop their empires through the ages until modern and near-future times"

ooooohhh...noooooooo.....those scary atheists... lol www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiyJzWy3CDQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=fPHnXrU5JzUI guess the second video is only amusing if you don't happen to live in the same country as those 3 morons. I thought CNN was better than to produce something as one-sided and brain-numbing as that...it's like what you'd expect on Fox.

That's an incredible argument, that the decline in Christianity gives rise to the increase in radical Islamists. Its all a terrorist plot, I tell you! Burn the witch!

I thought CNN was better than to produce something as one-sided and brain-numbing as that...it's like what you'd expect on Fox. My jaw literally dropped open as I watched the second clip. Wow. Worthy of special mention are the part with the two women smugly chanting that atheists "just need to shut up," and the part where the arbitrator incredulously repeats the finding that atheists are mistrusted " even more than Muslims and homosexuals!" Just offensive on so many levels, it's actually almost comical. Honorable mentions for most amazing moments: the "this is a Christian nation... why are we pretending?" part, the part where the one woman accused atheists of interferring with her "right" to have prayer in schools, and the part where the other woman asserts that "Europe [has] lost god... it's becoming Islamist, it's fast falling." Uh, what..? lol. And of course, the "freedom of religion doesn't mean freedom from religion" part. What was CNN thinking, putting this on the air? That was just very very strange, and disturbing. At least the one guy was level-headed about the discussion, though the two women just shouted rhetoric overtop of him and drowned out his responses as best they could. I don't know if it's a fluke or a symptom of the big big problems with the news today--I don't watch the news much, I couldn't really say--but I really hope this was just some kind of last-minute, crap-our-real-guest-just-cancelled filler that embarrassed the hell out of CNN and made them promise themselves to never, never do it again.

I'm guessing there are fewer haters amongst atheists because they usually don't follow any dogma and have less extreme views then your average fundamentalist.

LOL aye, this thread is still here! I've been ill ... wasn't there a page in this thread someone had pointed me too that they wanted me to look at? Sorry, I've been busy and sick. If you don't mind posting it again that'd be easiest though, but I'd be happy to address it.
