The Binding of Isaac I've been enjoying this little gem of a game for quite a while. It's a really disturbing game at first but you get used to it after a few runs. Personally I really like the art style, the music is absolutely brilliant and the replayability of this game is without equal as far as I'm concerned. The only real gripe I have with this game is the fact that it runs using Flash. That's not so great because it doesn't make use of your GPU and as such there is a noticeable amount of lag when there are too many enemies/bullets on screen. Nonetheless, it's a game I highly recommend, even more so with the Autumn sale going on on Steam, you can buy it for less than three dollars with the soundtrack, it's more than worth it in my humble opinion .

Mortimer Beckett and the Crimson Thief, a hidden object adventure game - I love the graphics and the brain teasing puzzles in the game. Not much of a storyline though.

seconding Skyrim it's the best thing ever. I love my character he's a remake of my old Morrowind one. He's a hight elf who runs into the middle of a fight waving his big two handed weapon around, I love him! Just running around at the moment doing random quests, it's amazing. Hate the menu system (I'm a pc gamer), but everything else is great. It's won me over in the same way Morrowind did and I'm so happy about that!
Still player WoW and other games. Just started Tomb Raider Anniversary, took me a while as I loved the first lot of games so it's hard getting used to the new style.
Have so many games on my computer atm from the Steam summer sale that I need to play and now with the autumn sale it will get a lot worse.

I'm really looking forward to Trine 2 which I've pre-ordered about two weeks ago and after playing the Beta ( though I would personally call it a demo rather than a Beta since it only has the first two levels but whatever ) for a bit, I know that I'm going to enjoy that game as much if not more than I enjoyed the first one.
Anyway, since this Wednesday is the day it's supposed to come out, I already know what I'm going to do when I come home after work tomorrow evening ;D.

Arkham City, so much fun! I finished Arkham Asylum too, which I enjoyed also.

I have been playing Arkham city also and it is a very fun game, I can't quite say how it compares to the first in terms of quality but I can say that I like how they have fleshed out more aspects of gameplay such as giving the mooks armour, blades, front shields and inparticular guns, in doing that they actually made you fight like batman would, cautiously waiting in dark corners waiting for a stray bad guy to come near and take them out. Rather than in the first game where repeatedly pressing square could win you a fight against any number of opponents.

I got Star Wars: The Old Republic about a month and a half ago and it has been really fun, I've got a level 50 Jedi Shadow and a host of other high level characters but upon hitting max level the game grew stagnant and just... shitty. Everything that I disliked about WoW has reared it's ugly head and so unless game update 1.2 is something absolutely amazing, goodbye SW:ToR
Also still playing Battlefield 3 from time to time.
Haven't played Dota 2 in a while. I did go really hard at the start so I'm still on a good long break from that

Dooble post! If there are any computer-heads on here who know their stuff when it comes to computer parts, there's something I'd like you to look at if you have a moment. I want to build a new gaming PC with above-par equipment, and on this website; www.ple.com.au/ViewKit.aspx?KitId=602223 , I have come up with the following set-up A couple of notes: 1) The motherboard is actually going to be a different one and I have no other options for it because it is the only one they sell that is compatible with the speed of the RAM I've selected. 2) I'll be bringing across my monitor and keyboard and such from my old pc 3) I have no idea what case to get, there's a lot of choice, with the one selected being the third most expensive. 4) I know little about liquid cooling vs air cooling, except that this liquid cooling system is a sealed system requiring no maintenance on the tubes and won't ever leak as a result. The liquid cannot be removed, nor can any be added. It's much safer, or so it seems. 5) I will likely overclock the CPU, but probably not beyond 4.0GHz It's going to be an enormous upgrade from my current computer, from the big CPU increase (2.67GHz -> 3.2GHz, with more cache size and cores I believe), several leaps forwards for the graphics card (my current one is an old Nvidia GTX 285), and the amount of RAM (I only have a couple of gigs atm, while this computer has 16gigs in the RAM stick alone, very fast ram at that). I am open to insights though on if this is not a good setup for any reason (parts clashing, too much/too little investment in certain parts, that kind of thing), so if anyone wants to comment, please do

I don't have much to say other than it seems like an awful lot for a new pc, I typically hear 1.5k as being a reasonable amount to spend, but I can say if perhaps you could save money by assembling it yourself if you are able to. Could it be that that particular site is the Aussie equivalent of Alienware PCs in that they charge way too much for parts which could be obtained somewhere else at a much lower price.

This is normal pricing actually. I compared my friends pc which he bought for 2k at a different local company based in Sydney, and built the same pc on the ple website and the cost was close to identical. Ple is definitely not the Alienware of Australia lol. I also just hate building computers. If it costs me a little extra to have a professional put it together and have it all setup, ready to go upon pick-up, so be it.

Well I gues for a computer which is very much above the odds in specifications it is the price expected and hey it is your money after all.
Honestly, assembling a computer is a very easy task but again it's your choice after all and if you're not bothered to do it then so be it.

Diablo 3
12 years of waiting finally over! I can't even begin to describe how obsessed I was with the second one when it came out back in the day. Thankfully this one hasn't quite grabbed me in the same way...yet!

Played through Dead Island on my spanking new-ish pc a month or two back. Played a tiny bit of Skyrim too though not really had the time to get completely lost in it. Which I'm trying to avoid anyway Games don't really have as strong a hold over my time anymore. I certainly don't have the concentration or time to be delving into a huge open world epic, or the dedication for that matter. Having said that I was given Batman: Arkham City as a Christmas present and would like to play through that at some stage. Fifa 12 is still my game of choice for a quick session.
