I'll just start this off with this visual here which reflects how I feel about public speaking, giving an opinion in front of others, or just even a "small" thing<(to non shybees) such as entering a room that already has people conversing in it:

It does sound very nice, Outcast. I'd love to be able to play that one. P.S. I like the Magic "Rude" tune as well:).

Frustrated. I'm gonna throw my computer out of the window in a minute. I swear, if I ever meet Bill Gates he's getting a slap. Oh my, Spork! I can most definitely relate! Especially with this Win 10 crap lol. This Asus laptop gives me so much trouble. Ass computer LOL.

Really don't know what my problem is and how I can so easily go from feeling hopeful one moment to feeling like an emotional wreck the next. I can relate very much . I hope you feel better soon, Strawberry .

Well I actually made it to the public library today - first more enjoyable time there in many months. I sat down to read for a bit. Marle will be happy to know I finally found the Michael Pollan book "In Defense of Food" and have borrowed it for home reading. I read this for quite awhile today at the library, really digging into it. It's certainly a must read for anyone researching food or nutritional history. The other books I took out are:
Fast Metabolism Food Rx by Haylie Pomroy - it's about listening to the needs of your body, the various "calls" - whispering, talking, and screaming it makes and what it's trying to tell a person, and how to remedy this with the right food.
The third book is from a New Brunswick author (so it probably wouldn't be of interest, but I list it anyway). It's called From Here to Absurdity by Fred Grass. He spoke about being brutally honest with himself, putting himself under a microscope as it were, a self examination - and when I read that I absolutely had to take it out and see what this book's contents are. I admire that kind of person - a person that will look at him or her self in private and call a spade a spade, no holds barred, no hypocrisy. It's what I aspire to be because if I end up where I believe I may end up, I want to at least go there with as much honesty as I can (about myself).

I'm watching the Matrix movies on AMC. They're really good. I realize they're old, but I'm getting into this genre of scifi now so it's become more of an interest to me. I'm hoping to acquire some of these type of movies via that movie site I mentioned.

Thought I'd start a thread on sharing books/movies you've read/watched that the ending disappointed you in some way. Then, if you like, you can share why you were disappointed. Books (the two I've listed here were made into a movie): "Of Mice and Men" - I was disappointed that Lenny died in the end. Was hoping he and George would make that dream of theirs come true. "Flowers for Algernon" - (movie called "Charly" - 1968) - that Charley Gordon wasn't able to retain his increased intelligence. Movies: "Rain Man" - that Raymond ended up going back to the institution at movie's end instead of continuing to stay with his brother. Puppet Master 6 (Curse of) - ending really sucked - so predictable .

thoughtcatalog.com/ari-eastman/2014/11/15-indisputable-signs-youre-becoming-a-hermit/I can relate to #2 - but with facebook. That's why when I'm really depressed, I can't go on there. All my so called friends talking to each other and ignoring me (well it Seems that way, to me even if they're probably not) #5 when I was younger. I'd give an excuse I had to help with or stay at home with my mum. #8 so far I have not been able to find a grocery store that offers delivery service:( sad to say. We need a Safeway in Canada, lol. It's a real treat getting a pkg from Canada Post delivered up to my apt (yes those comics finally came LOL!). #9 haven't done the online ordering restaurant food Yet - but I definitely plan to since I hate talking on the phone ugh #12 definitely relate to that #15 yeah my best friend Marion and even there the effort is exhausting. I liken myself to Zoldon (scuse bad spelling lol) Carparthy that Hungarian on My Fair Lady except that I don't bother changing my appearance just so people will "notice me".

Eating a slice of pizza, having a drink of coffee liquor with milk and ice; and watching a Puppet Master movie - the really gory one lol Puppet Master 2 lol. Plus the digital cable tv's on with a movie also - Binge Watcher LOL. Got the Puppet Master movie as a DVD set of 10 PM movies in 2 discs by snail mail. Ordered them on the 24th January and they arrived February 3rd - pretty good service there. (Site called "Second Spin" just in case anyone might be interested)

Same as Outcast, I'm new to Steam, but I have been trying to access the Star Trek online games on there. I've been having a lot of trouble though. I've done all that it tells me to do - downloading what I need to download; and downloading whatever game I want to try; but when I sign in (which I had already created an account on Steam), it says invalid username/password. It gets frustrating, especially now that I have more health problems (leg pain, etc.) and I'm trying to do more online stuff to try to get my mind off the fact that I can no longer go for the long walks that I enjoy. Sorry this is getting long. I might try again to access Steam. I got so angry at not being able to play the Star Trek online game because it wouldn't let me sign in that I ended up going into control panel and deleting Steam off this computer. I know I'm not the only one who's experienced the sign in problem (read some sites off google where others are having trouble also), so it's a little comforting to know it's not just me LOL.
Oh well, back to the pinball game, I guess. It's just I was looking forward to trying some of Steam's free Star Trek games. I tried another star trek game on another site, but the game was so bloody lame; besides that, the graphics were nowhere NEAR as awesome as the graphics on Steam's website. I mean I have a pretty good working computer as far as video and graphics is concerned; and lots of storage 1 tb; and 8 gigs of random access memory - I'd like to put it to use a little more than I am especially video graphics wise.

Those who like or collect comic books should check out this site. It has just about every comic you'd ever want. Before the internet they'd been in business since the early 60s; been on internet since 1996. No I don't work for them lol - I'm just a huge fan. I just placed my first order for my favorite all time comic which I collected when I was in 7th grade - "Richie Rich". They have them from from many different genres. They have a section where you can get 20-40 comics in one pkg for about 20 dollars! They have them for as low as 1.70 each which as we who love comics know is much lower than the retail price nowadays! So if you like comics, if I were you I'd go on over there and see their huge selection! www.mycomicshop.com/And while I'm waiting for my hardcopy Richie Rich comics to arrive by snail mail, I found some to read online:D over here in somebody's blog: richierichcomicsfanclub.wordpress.com/

I decided to try it just for fun.
I got 19 right and 5 wrong for 79%. Was hoping for at least 80 percent but I guess my score's not that bad. I'm a little tired now so I might come back at another time and try part 2.
