I wasn't really concentrating on it. I havent seen the anime short

There are many films that try to gross people out with gore, most horror film directors think they need to use it to excess to be worth watching. But I think a movie that disturbed me more that anything graphic I've ever seen was in "Amityville: The Possession", where the brother and sister are involved in incest. All the members of the family are dysfuncional, which almost makes you forget that the house they are in is supposed to be evil. It somehow didn't bother me in the movie when the kid shot his whole family one night, but that one scene where he seduces his sister yuck!

I've seen quite a few disturbing Japanese films recently, Battle Royale is probably the worst. A class of school children get sent to an Island and have three days to kill each other off to leave only one survivor.

Once you get past the fairly repulsive premise, the blood and guts are not much worse than your standard Hollywood thriller, like Se7en for example. If you want to see a really nasty Japanese film, watch Audition.

How how how did you get into watching these..? Are they like snuff films lite..? Not snuff just a slightly more extreme horror film, I dont like all of the things in them, Im just interested in controversial stuff and like horror films, plus when something was banned i have to see why. lol, I get ya. I'm more of a "read the plot outline" type, heh heh ;D .... much less likely to freak me out than actual gore and disturbing stuffs!

Some David Lynch movies can be disturbing, such as Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, or Eraserhead. Although I still love David Lynch movies. Just look at the baby from Eraserhead, disturbingDid E.T. have a baby?

Real life or fiction? I once tried to satisfy my morbid curiosity and got more than I bargained for...
I've seen stuff that no-one should have to see. I've seen stuff that gave me a nightmare for a week. I will never forget the screams or the gargling - for as long as I live.

The whole idea was pretty unsettling. The first scene was very bizarre and it didn't get much cheerier. The way it unraveled in the end freaked me out.

The most disturbing film i've seen is Cannibal Holocaust, i got a uncut version off of ebay it a banned Italian horror movie, it was pretty disturbing features real animal killings, cannibalism, rape, nudity, a real live turtle being disembowelled, castration , Similar films to that i've seen movies such as Jungle Holocaust, Eaten Alive, Deep River Savages, all banned Italian horror film now released cut, all similar to Cannibal Holocaust. Oh yeah, I forgot that many years ago...me and some friends from high school went and rented "Faces Of Death" which showed actual footage of people commiting suicide, being eaten alive by alligators, skydivers falling to their death, etc..., I didn't enjoy watching it, I don't even know why we rented it other than being young and immature back then.
