Very tasteless to say the least . Although, if you're into that sort of thing..........

Another films i found deeply disturbing was the Japanese horror, Audition-shudder! What has freaked out everyone else? *shudder* Audition was horrible, i mean, it's a good film because it's done so well, but the hour and a half of slow paced story before the climaz really lulls you into a false sense of security. I've seen a few other films by Takashi Miike, and a lot of them are really fucking weird, but in a hilarious way, not like Audition. Oh, and another films that's really disturbing is Oldboy - A damn good film, but man...

hostel was good overall didn't like it to begin with (mainly the depiction of women in it )but loved it as it went on .
one disturbing movie i like is one i don''t know the name of it has Ewan McGreger as the main character. basically he works in a morgue and this guy goes around killing ppl and then doing the deed with them after then tries to set up Ewan's character as the suspect .

omg, omg, omg, OMFG.... The Girl Next Door....HORRIFYING I cannot believe people make films like this. Yeah, it brings these horrifying issues/crimes to life...but should they be brought to life? I don't think these are such films one would watch over and over again. So I think even more horrifying is the thought that some sick/disturbed individuals may actually get off on just watching this type of stuff...this type of abuse. DISGUSTING! omg edit: worse, it was based on a true story.

oh my goodness....I think I will add Orphan to this list...
Several things about it are disturbing.....yet I thought it was so, so good. Well-made, great acting. And it definitely served it's purpose of being creepy. If you're into horror/thriller type of flicks, then I highly recommend this one.

Azumi. Jap film about killing your team mates until only 1 of you stand alone and be proclaimed as a victor. I dunno why so many Japanese films are violent and gory

I recently saw a New Zealand film called Once Were Warriors which was HORRIBLE!!! It was like being pummelled again and again by the nastiest images imaginable. It was about working class urban Maori life and specifically alcohol fuelled domestic abuse. It stayed with me all day. Another films i found deeply disturbing was the Japanese horror, Audition-shudder! What has freaked out everyone else? Bwahahah! I was just going to mention Audition. I still feel bad for that guy she kept as a pet *shudders* I heard human cenipede (sorry if that's spelled wrong) was gruesome too. I think The Fly is the worse of the worse.

I think The Fly is the worse of the worse. The synopsis of The Human Centipede sounded pretty disturbing, but after seeing the trailer, it looked kinda lame. Don't think I've heard of most of the other movies in this thread. I kinda want to add a bunch to our Netflix queue, but the other half of this "our" probably won't be very happy. ;D

I just heard that it was a real and someone actually did that to someone else...kind of grossed me out. Lol, I say you add it anyways, muahaha. ;D

. . . I think The Fly is the worse of the worse. I would agree with The Fly. I really don't care to ever watch that movie again, lol. -- Hmm..was debating whether or not I should add these to this thread or not... Both are listed as "dark humor and black comedies" and both heavily concern adult themes. Secretary - I was kind of left speechless at the end of this one. I've a feeling I didn't read the entire description when I added it to my queue! Yet then again, I may have gotten it anyway...I seem to go for shock value sometimes and it seems I have a tendency to watch films that depict people with what seems like greater problems than mine. But, I really didn't know what to think of this one....I just felt like I was watching something I shouldn't be watching, lol. I'll never look at secretary help wanted ads the same way ever again! It was quite funny in places, though. Good Dick - This one I watched quite a while ago, but don't think I ever reviewed. It's a very strange movie, but I really liked it actually. I found it quite funny. The girl in it is isolated for her own reasons, so that was sort of interesting. She's got obvious problems. And the guy is just weird for being him, lol. So yeah...these movies do deal with sort of disturbing/taboo topics. But at the same time, I think they were both fairly well done.
