Yourm love of the Bee Gees tell me that the men in white coats are on their way, G3netic. And as for publically admitting a liking to Billy Joel....!
I'm a bity like Inky. My taste in music varies according to my mood. From Radiohead when I'm down to dance stuff when I'm feeling good.

Hello all, I just received the following email in my inbox regarding a new Discovery Channel tv show that aims to help shy people overcome their anxieties. I'll post the full ad below. Going by the email address at the bottom of the ad it looks like its going to be a UK based show.

Hello Gary, welcome to SHY United. The people on these boards are fantastic. My favourite film? I love comedies and I think my favourite was the very first Naked Gun.

It doesn't ring any bells with me but I'm not up on my films. If anybody else knows more, let us know.

Definitely. If I hear one more boy band or girl band I'll lose control.

I'm not that big a fan. Any music were the singer has a nickname I tend to stay ten paces away from. But saying that, I'm going to see an Irish folky band called The Wolftones on Thursday night. The guy and gal next door are taking me. I had to phone an ambulance for the girl one day last week as she was finding it hard to breath. The concert is a thankyou.
I'll enjoy every minuted!!!!!!
For sale: One Wolftone ticket.

I used to work with a fella who always used to buy 2 copies of every film he bought. One to watch and 1 to keep good in its cellophane wrapper. I never understood that.

Terry Henry (to give him his London name) is probably the best player in the world right now. Closely followed by Bobby Pires. I agree with you about Robbie Williams and Big Brother. I haven't watched it at all this year. I watched it the whole way through the year that Scouser builder won it but never again since.

I agree. There was talk of Robbie Williams taking Freddie's place if they ever toured but it just wouldn't work.

It's a classic cult film but I never saw it the whole way through.

Let us know how you get on with the book, Tiff. I came across an excellent book on overcoming anxiety in the library last week. It was a few years old but it was full of excellent practical advice. It was called 'Overcoming Shyness' by somebody callked Williams.
